Horseracing Sponsorship

Information and prices

Have you considered adding a sponsored horse
race to your portfolio of hospitality events? It can be done for
surprisingly little money and enhances your “day at the races” ten
fold. Firstly, your guests will be honoured and flattered to be
invited to “your special day”. In addition, on the day itself, they
will feel like VIP’s, wining and dining in the very best
facilities, visits to the Parade Ring, prize giving ceremony and so
on.

Raceday
Involvement

Sponsoring a race brings increased involvement in the day for the
hosts and guests. Your involvement starts with a trip to the
paddock to inspect the runners and riders and judge the “best
turned out horse”. After the race a chosen representative of your
company or a special guest can present the trophies to the
successful owner, trainer and jockey at the prize winning
ceremony.

Sponsorship revenue is vital to racecourses and for this reason the
authorities will bend over backwards to provide you with the very
best service and facilities. There are also opportunities for
corporate branding around the course with racecard advertising and
signage around the course. Needless to say the race can be named
after your company or key guest – whatever happens, you chose the
name!

When your guests appreciate the importance of the day to your
company, they will be flattered to be invited to such an important
occasion.

How much does it cost to sponsor a
race?

Costs will vary according to the importance of the race
and whether it is being televised. However, for groups of 50 – 100,
the additional cost can sometimes be as low as £30 –
£20 per person – we believe the best value for money in
hospitality.
