Scandia Cowes Week is Europe’s premier sailing event, and
you and your guests can enjoy all the action from your own yacht,
sailing amongst the spectacular fleets. Lilley & Gillie can offer a range
of options to meet your specific requirements, whether it is the
thrill of more serious yacht racing, or simply enjoying a day out
on the water in a more leisurely manner.

For those looking ‘something different’  we are
able, through our association with Clipper Ventures to offer access
to the Clipper ’60 and Dubois ’68 racing yachts. The current
Clipper Round The World Race is not scheduled to end until the end
of July so it is unlikely that we will have any of the current
yachts available during Cowes Week, but the Clipper ’60 racing
yachts are also previous participants in the trans global race.
Alternatively we are able to offer Jeannau Sun Odessey yachts.

Package options

We have included the outline of an ‘example itinerary’ but we
would be very happy to discuss an alternative programme to meet
your specific requirements.

Your day would start in Lymington, New Forest with a
full briefing from their professional skipper and crew for the day.
After ‘getting to know’ the yachts, you will enjoy a leisurely
morning sailing across to Cowes, to enjoy some top class racing
action.

Guests are invited to get involved with sailing the yacht, from
helming to winching or alternatively relaxing and enjoying the day
with a glass of Pimms.
Lunch can either be taken onboard in one of the many bays off the
Isle of Wight or ‘onshore’ in a restaurant in Cowes.

Where numbers allow, the afternoon can involve a race in between
the fleet back to Lymington.

A typical Hospitality Day includes:

• The exclusive charter of a yacht for the day’s sailing with a
  professional skipper and crew

• Full safety briefing and yacht familiarisation
