The biggest girl band in the world, Pussycat Dolls and Barbados'
singing sensation Rihanna have just announced that they’re
joining forces for a very special arena tour. Climaxing at Wembley
Arena on Friday 1st December. Over the last year, the Dolls have
scored an impressive strike rate of hit singles. They have had 2
no1s with ‘Don’t Cha’ and ‘Stickwitu’
and 2 top 3 singles ‘Beep’ and ‘Buttons’.
The most successful girl band launch since the Spice Girls 10 years
ago, the girls have spent the last few months supporting Black Eyed
Peas in Asia, Australia, Europe and America.
2006 has also turned out to be Rihanna’s year, she’s
had two smash hit singles with ‘S.O.S’ and
‘Unfaithful’. Both those tracks made it to no2 in the
UK charts as did her debut single ‘Pon De Replay’ from
her one million selling debut album ‘Music Of The Sun’.
Rihanna also made her movie debut this year with a cameo role in
Bring It On 3 which has recently been released on DVD.
